The Historic Plaza Theatre
is pleased to announce the creation of the
THE ADENA TEEN FILM FESTIVAL @ THE BURG
“Giving Voice to our next Generation of Storytellers”
Hosted by the Historic Plaza Theatre in cooperation with the Miami Valley Communications Council.
Monday, September 7, 2020.
Labor Day at The Plaza Theatre.
14 categories including informational/educational, News, Long & Short Documentaries, Commercials, Comedy, PSA’s, Music videos, Long & Short Narratives, Animation, NEW Trailer, & a Middle School Division for grades 6,7,8.
PLUS the obligatory “alternative” category for films that don’t fit any category.
These films will vary by category in length, but are mostly from 30 seconds to 9 minutes, with 2 categories permitting films of 30 minutes maximum.
The goal is to have fun, be creative & entertain.
The dates of Film Camps taking place in the Miami Valley & Southwest Ohio will be announced soon.
The Adena Teen Film Festival will include Judging by an esteemed panel & Awards will be presented.
In the near future we hope to announce a partnership with Film Freeway as our film submission venue.
