2026 Century of Cinema Presenter Request

Out of our 22 spots to fill, we need to fill 20 more. Of those, we are hoping to fill 9 or more of these with Ohio movies. That means anything related to Ohio: actors, story, props, themes, etc.

Please look at the attached link and see if anything interests you. We are looking for movies that excite you as well as will bring in crowds. You can also do a web search for Ohio ties: for example: The Outsiders (1983) has 2 Ohio actors in it: Rob Lowe and Emilio Estevez. If you can't find one on that list, that's ok too. Send us your favorite movies that you think will bring a crowd.

Whichever you choose, please give us your top 3 movies, the year they released and why you want to present it. We will get back with you to set a time to talk about your movie and give you more details about what we need the presentation to look like.

What to expect:

  • You will need to create a script. Make it your own. Show us why you love the movie, what makes it special to you. Make sure to talk about the Ohio aspect if there is one, as well as actors, director, costs, etc. Keep the crowd engaged.

  • If your movie is more than 1.5 hours, we ask that you keep your presentation to 8-10 minutes.

  • If your movie is less than 1.5 hours, you have 15 minutes for your presentation.

  • You will need to create a powerpoint presentation (or comparable) that adds interest to your presentation.

  • If you include sound or clips, please keep them under a minute.

  • Please fill out the form and we hope to see you soon!
